Tupperware Brands Corporation is an American global consumer products company founded in 1946. It designs innovative, functional, and environmentally responsible household products. The company is known for its line of plastic containers for food storage and preparation. Now Tupperware brand has more than 8,500 functional design and utility patents for solution-oriented kitchen and home products and distributes its products into nearly 80 countries, primarily through independent representatives worldwide. Tupperware Brands Corporation is being recognised by Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies 2021. The global spread of coronavirus and the resulting lockdowns have driven the shift toward work from home, driving up demand for food storage and other kitchen products. Tupperware benefited from this, and a rise in demand for Tupperware’s products rose to USD 460M, up from USD 376M in Q1 2020. The market capitalisation of the company was USD 1.13B as of September 24, 2021.
