Santander Group (SAN) is a Spanish multinational financial services company headquartered in Boadilla del Monte, Spain. Santander Group (SAN) is the 16th-largest banking institution in the world. Europe’s largest retail creditor, whose commitment over the last forty years to build a customer banking empire resulted in the spanning of activities to an additional 14 countries including the US, China, Europe, and Latin America. Although the Santander Group (SAN) has found itself involved in enormous financial scandals such as the fine of €6.4M (EUR) imposed by the Bank of Spain for breaching banking regulations, in 2019. Santander Group’s (SAN) market cap is $53.03B (USD) and it is traded on the Bolsa de Madrid (BMAD) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Since Santander’s share price reached its peak in December 2007 - share price $12.99 (USD) – its value was constantly dropping until it touched its historical share price low - $1.49 (USD) - in September 2020.
