Anta Sports company designs, develops, manufactures and markets products, including sportswear, footwear, apparel and accessories and has 41,000 employees. The company is the world’s largest purely sports equipment company and the 3rd largest manufacturer of sporting goods overall, which is only behind sportswear companies Nike and Adidas. The company sponsored 26 Chinese national teams in winter sports, boxing, taekwondo, gymnastics, weightlifting, wrestling, judo, surfing, water polo and golf. Anta Sports Product Ltd stock (2020.xhkg) is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and had a market capitalisation of $34.13B (USD) as of January 2022. Anta Sports Products Ltd is the parent company of 26 others. Some of them are Anta Enterprise Group Limited, Motive Force Sports Products Limited and REEDO Sports Products Limited. The company’s brands include ANTA Kids, FILA, FILA Kids, Descente, and NBA. In summer 2021, Anta announced that it plans to invest over ¥4M to improve its global R&D system.
