What is the SPA35 Cash Index?
The Spain 35 index serves as the primary benchmark for the Bolsa de Madrid, Spain's stock exchange. The SPA35 index was launched in 1992 and tracks the performance of the 35 most liquid equities on the Madrid Stock Exchange. It is assessed twice a year as a capitalization-weighted index (January and July). The Index includes the top 35 companies by trading volume in Euros over the last six months.
Are Indices Good to Trade?
The trading of stock indices is advantageous to investors since the returns on these investments are higher than those on the broader stock market. In addition, when investing in indices, traders only need to conduct a small amount of study. Because they are derived from the existing stock index, futures trading and options contract trading are categorised as derivatives markets.
